With scenic lakeside surroundings minutes from the heart of downtown Los Angeles, St. Paul’s Commons Conference & Retreat Center invites you to enjoy its excellent hospitality.

Affordability and flexibility make St. Paul’s Commons an outstanding venue for events including daylong and overnight corporate meetings, nonprofit gatherings, and family celebrations such as weddings, quinceaneras, anniversaries, birthdays, and memorial services.

Retreat guest rooms are ideal for accommodating smaller groups of boards of directors, management teams, parish vestries, and spiritual enrichment programs. Youth, interfaith, and nonsectarian groups are welcomed.

Bedrooms with bathrooms en suite house 13 guests single occupancy or 26 double occupancy. Each room has individually controlled heating and air conditioning in addition to windows opening to outside breezes. Several rooms are accessible to the disabled.

Meeting rooms vary in size and capacity, with the Great Hall seating up to 120 at tables or 200 in a theater-style configuration. First-floor conference rooms seat 30-50 persons, with an adjacent church sanctuary seating 250. A rooftop terrace offers outdoor seating for 80 with access to two indoor lounges.

All guest and meeting rooms offer wi-fi, with large-screen monitors and projectors for presentations. Visitors may shop at the on-site bookstore.

Ample free and secure parking is provided in the enclosed, two-level garage. Access to the 101 Freeway is nearby at both Echo Park Avenue and Glendale Boulevard. Bus service to downtown and the Union Station transit hub is available via DASH.

 Full catering services include a range of options and menus for meals and receptions. A variety of restaurants are also located within walking distance.

Ringed with towering palm trees and thriving beds of lotus and water lilies, Echo Park Lake offers a .9-mile path ideal for brisk walks, jogging, or a contemplative pace. Birdsong and quacking ducks are heard above the splash of the central fountain, with egrets and cranes among local wildlife. Swan-styled pedal boats may be rented and enjoyed as the church carillon chimes the hour.
